Mr. T.K. Dubey establishes Awadh Group in Kolkata with 5 employees and a bold vision to redefine security services in India. The defining ethos โ Detect, Deter, Defend โ is adopted as the operational philosophy from day one.
Founding
Formal incorporation of Awadh Security Services Pvt. Ltd. (ASSP Ltd.). Focus established on industrial clients across West Bengal and Bihar. First major contracts with power sector and manufacturing units secured.
Incorporation
Following the enactment of the Private Security Agencies Regulation Act, 2005, Awadh achieves PSARA compliance across all operating states. ISO 9001 certification achieved, establishing structured quality management systems.
Compliance
Awadh begins its pan-India geographic expansion, establishing regional offices across Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra. Workforce crosses 10,000 deployed professionals. First government and PSU contracts awarded.
Expansion
Awadh Education & Training Academy (AETA) MoU signed on 1st October 2016. The 160-hour structured training programme, exclusively delivered by retired Army, BSF, and Police officers, is institutionalised as a mandatory pre-deployment requirement.
AETA Founded
Strategic pivot from pure-play security to comprehensive Integrated Facility Management. New divisions launched: MEP, HVAC, housekeeping, landscaping, pest management. Workforce expands to 25,000+. First integrated facility contracts signed with hospital chains.
Diversification
Dedicated Healthcare Support Division launched serving 25+ hospitals with clinical, housekeeping, and engineering staff. Canine Security division establishes 3 dedicated K9 training centres. ISO 18788:2015 certification achieved โ the global standard for security operations management.
New Verticals
Awadh achieves landmark โน205 Crore annual revenue in FY 2024โ25. Total workforce surpasses 60,000 professionals. Office network expands to 146+ locations. Cash Management Services (CMS) division launched with GPS-armoured fleet. AETA graduates over 5,000 professionals annually from 9+ training centres.

When I founded Awadh Group with just five employees in 1994, I had one singular vision: to create an organisation where integrity is not a policy โ it is a way of life. Every guard we deploy carries not just a uniform, but a promise. A promise to protect, to serve, and to uphold the dignity of the people and the organisations that trust us. Thirty years later, that promise remains the bedrock of everything we do.
India is on the threshold of a security revolution. As our nation grows โ its infrastructure expands, its corporations scale globally โ the need for disciplined, trained, and values-driven security professionals has never been greater. The AETA training framework โ modelled on military standards โ ensures that every professional we place is not just capable, but character-tested.
